Ready to step into a performance experience thatโs both intentional and supportive? The MasterClass is a seasonal, in-person workshop where performers bring prepared material, present it in front of an audience, and receive focused coaching that helps them deepen presence, refine expression, and build real confidence.
Whether youโre singing, speaking, performing spoken word, comedy, storytelling, or acting, this MasterClass is for anyone who uses their voice. This isnโt about perfection โ itโs about choosing to be seen, learning through performance, and engaging with your voice and material in a meaningful way. Observers are welcome to learn by watching and listening, but the heart of the MasterClass is the performance experience itself โ a courageous, grounded space where growth happens through real world experience.
โจ Why Choose My MasterClass
The MasterClass exists for moments when youโre ready to step into a true performance container.
Private lessons and personal practice are where skills are built. The MasterClass is where those skills are tested under real conditions โ in front of others, with presence, focus, and intention. Itโs the difference between knowing something in theory and discovering how it actually shows up when you perform.
This format grew out of years of working with performers who felt confident in lessons, but hesitant to take their work into the world. The MasterClass offers a supported space to practice being seen, make mistakes safely, and discover that the world doesnโt end when things arenโt perfect.
You bring prepared material, perform it in a grounded, intentional setting, and receive coaching that helps you respond, adapt, and deepen your connection to what youโre sharing. The MasterClass isnโt about being polished or โready enough.โ Itโs about choosing to show up, learning what holds under pressure, and building confidence through the act of performing itself.
๐ What Happens in the MasterClass
Each MasterClass is a guided, in-person workshop centered on live performance and coaching.
Performers present prepared material in a recital-style setting. One at a time, performers share their work and receive focused coaching from me in front of the room. There is space to explore adjustments, test choices, and respond to feedback in real time.
The session moves through multiple performances with coaching and brief discussion throughout, allowing each performerโs work to be supported within the larger flow of the MasterClass.
โ๏ธ How It Works
The MasterClass is a seasonal, in-person workshop offered at select times throughout the year.
Each MasterClass is a single-session event with a limited number of Performer spots. This ensures there is enough time and space for each performer to present work and receive focused coaching.
Performers prepare material in advance and bring it into a recital-style setting. For singers, live accompaniment is part of the experience. This creates a real-world performance container that feels intentional, supported, and distinct from regular lessons or practice spaces.
Details about preparation, format, and timing are shared ahead of time so performers know what to expect and can arrive feeling oriented. The structure is designed to support presence, focus, and meaningful engagement with the work being presented.
๐ฅ Ways to Participate
There are two ways to participate in the MasterClass:
๐ค Performer
Performers prepare material in advance and present it during the MasterClass. This option is for those who want the full performance experience, including live coaching and the opportunity to work with their material in a recital-style setting. Performers may present through singing, speaking, spoken word, comedy, storytelling, acting, or any form where the voice is central.
๐ Observer
Observers attend the MasterClass without performing. This option allows you to learn by watching the performances and listening to the coaching. At times, I may invite observers to reflect, ask questions, or share observations as part of the discussion. Many observers find it helpful to bring a pen and notebook to jot down insights as they listen.
Performer spots are limited. Observer spots are available where space allows.
