Please review the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

🫱🏻‍🫲🏾 Private 1:1 Voice & Performance Coaching (Singing and Public Speaking Lessons)

These policies apply to all private 1:1 singing and public speaking lessons, both in-person and virtual. By booking, you agree to the following terms. (Scroll down for Corporate)

📅 Booking & Scheduling

Lessons are available Tuesday to Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM (subject to availability).
Sessions must be booked using the online scheduler.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received.

💰 Payment & Packages

All fees are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to 13% HST.
Packages must be prepaid in full.
Pay-as-you-go is available but does not include any discounts.
Discounted packages must be used within the booking deadline to maintain discounted pricing.
If all sessions are not completed by the deadline, remaining sessions revert to the $95 pay-as-you-go rate.

🔁 Rescheduling & Cancellation

24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the session will be forfeited.
Rescheduling sessions outside the booking deadline may result in additional fees.
If a session is canceled with proper notice, a make-up session must be scheduled before the package deadline.
No refunds are issued for missed sessions or unused packages.

📆 Double Bookings & Session Timing

Double bookings (back-to-back sessions) are permitted, but it’s recommended to leave at least one day between sessions for vocal rest and preparation.
Please arrive on time. Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival.

🏠 In-Person Lessons

Location: Private residence near Woodbine & Mortimer in East York.
Exact address shared upon booking.
No waiting area. Please arrive exactly at your scheduled time.
Free street parking available. Closest transit: Woodbine Subway, Bus routes 62, 91, 93.

👨🏽‍👩🏾‍👧🏾‍👦🏾 Minors & Guests

Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the first session.
Parents may stay if needed but must remain silent observers.
No friends, family, or children are allowed to wait or observe during the session.

💻 Virtual Lesson Guidelines

Choose a quiet, private space where you can sit and stand comfortably.
Do not hold your device—use a stand or keep it stable.
Test your webcam, microphone, and internet connection before the session.
Enable “Original Sound for Musicians” in Zoom (optional but highly recommended for singers). View setup instructions

🛑 Refunds & Credits

All sales are final. No refunds are provided.
Credits (if granted) must be used within 60 days and are non-transferable.
Unused sessions cannot be carried forward beyond their expiration.

🌐 Technical Disruptions (Virtual Lessons)

If a session is interrupted due to technical issues (e.g., connectivity problems, Zoom failure), the lesson may be rescheduled at no additional cost at the coach’s discretion.

🤒 Health & Safety (In-Person Lessons)

If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your session. In-person coaching will not proceed if either the coach or participant is ill.

Your progress depends on consistent effort and practice. Coaching provides the tools, support, and guidance—but results vary by individual.

✨ Vocal Spark MasterClass Series

These policies apply to all Vocal Spark MasterClass sessions. By registering, you agree to the following terms.

🎭 Eligibility

The Vocal Spark MasterClass Series is open to singers, speakers, spoken word artists, and actors at all levels. Performers must come prepared as outlined in the booking confirmation.

💬 Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to treat others with respect and maintain a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the session without a refund.

💳 Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

💰 Refunds & Credits

All refunds are issued as credits for future sessions.
No monetary refunds will be issued.
Credits must be used within 12 months of the original booking date.
Credits are non-transferable by default and must be used by the original purchaser. However, they may be reassigned to another participant upon written request and approval by Sensei Carolyn. Credits cannot be sold, gifted, or transferred without prior permission.

📆 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies

These policies are in place to ensure fairness and help manage limited session availability.

For Performers

Cancellations (14+ days before): Full credit issued.
Cancellations (<14 days): Non-refundable; no credit issued.
Rescheduling (7+ days before): Allowed at no charge.
Rescheduling (<7 days): Not permitted; session forfeited.

For Observers

Cancellations: All bookings are final sale. No cancellations or refunds.
Rescheduling (48+ hours before): Allowed at no charge.
Rescheduling (<48 hours): Not permitted; session forfeited.

🎯 Session Guidelines

Non-Transferable Registration: Session registrations and credits are non-transferable and must be used by the original purchaser. Substitutions are not permitted.
Right to Refuse Service: Sensei Carolyn reserves the right to refuse service or admission at her discretion in cases of misconduct or violation of policies.
Minimum Attendance Requirement: Vocal Spark MasterClasses require a minimum number of participants. If a session must be canceled due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive a full credit or the option to reschedule.
Respect During Coaching: Feedback is delivered with care and must be received respectfully. All participants are expected to remain silent and supportive during live coaching moments.
No Unregistered Spectators or Guests: Observers may include friends, family members, and other spectators—but they must register online and pay the appropriate fee in advance. Registration must be completed ahead of time; no entry or payment will be accepted at the door. Only registered Performers and Observers will be admitted.
Weather & Emergencies: In the event of a coach-led cancellation due to weather or unforeseen emergencies, participants will be offered a full credit or the option to reschedule.
Preparation: Performers must prepare songs, monologues, or speeches as outlined in the booking confirmation. Observers should arrive ready to learn.
Punctuality: Late arrival (15+ minutes) may result in denial of entry. No refunds or credits will be issued.
Location: All sessions are held in person at Kimbourne Park United Church, near Coxwell and Danforth in East York. Participants are responsible for their own travel and punctuality.

📹 Recording & Media Policy

By registering, you consent to being photographed or recorded during the session.
Participants may be asked to complete a short media release form at the time of booking or onsite to confirm their permission for media use.
Photos and short video clips may be taken during in-person sessions for marketing and promotional use.
Full-session recordings may be added to the Vocal Euphoria educational archive for registered students.

🔐 Intellectual Property & Usage

All media (photos, videos, recordings) are the property of Sensei Carolyn & Vocal Euphoria.
Materials may be used for educational and promotional purposes.
Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or distribution by participants is strictly prohibited.

🏢 Corporate Voice Coaching (Private & Group)

💳 Payment Methods

Credit Card: Accepted via secure online invoice or payment link.
e-Transfer: Send payment to payments@vocaleuphoria.com. Payment must be received by the stated due date to secure the booking.
Electronic Bank Transfer: Details provided upon request.
Corporate Cheque: Payable to Vocal Euphoria. Instructions will be shared with the invoice.

Receipts will be issued once payment is confirmed. All invoices are issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to 13% HST.

📅 Booking & Payment Policies

Private 1:1 Coaching

Full payment is due at the time of booking.
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full and are non-reschedulable.
If the coach must cancel or reschedule, the client may choose to reschedule or receive a credit.
Credits must be used within 60 days of the original session date and are non-transferable beyond the original organization.
Sessions must be completed within the agreed timeframe. Rescheduling is permitted once per session, but all sessions must fall within the package timeline:
- Essential Foundation (3 sessions): within 30 days
- Empowered Breakthrough (5 sessions): within 60 days
- Elevated Challenge (7 sessions): within 90 days
- Elite Transformation (10 sessions): within 120 days
- Unused sessions not completed within the specified timeframe will be forfeited without refund or credit.
- The Envision Success Session ($300) may be applied toward a package if booked within 7 days. It must be completed within 60 days of purchase and may be rescheduled once.
Bookings made by corporate cheque require a 50% deposit, cleared within 3 business days. If the cheque is not cleared at least 48 hours before the session, the booking will be cancelled.
For individual clients, full payment is required at the time of booking. For corporate clients, a 50% deposit is required; the remaining balance is due within 14 days of the final session.
Late payments may be subject to a $50 late fee if not received within one calendar day of the due date.

Group Coaching

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due within 14 days of the final session.
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 7 days’ notice.
Late payments may be subject to a 5% monthly late fee.
Additional fees apply for added participants or extended delivery time.
Travel fees may apply for sessions held beyond a 45-minute commute from East York.
Sessions are considered confirmed once the deposit is received. All dates must be agreed upon in writing and are subject to coach availability.
Group coaching engagements must be completed within the timeline outlined in your proposal or agreement. Delays caused by the organization may result in additional fees or forfeiture of unused sessions.
Each group session may be rescheduled once. Additional rescheduling may incur administrative fees.
Clients must provide a suitable, professional on-site space such as a boardroom, training room, or private meeting area. Sessions may not be held in private residences.
If the space is deemed unsuitable or unsafe, the coach reserves the right to cancel the session. The session will be considered forfeited without refund.
If the coach is delayed up to 15 minutes due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will proceed for the remaining scheduled time. If the delay exceeds 15 minutes, the client may choose to:
Extend the session (if schedule permits), or
Reschedule at no additional charge

Credits issued in lieu of refunds must be used within 12 months of the original payment date, unless otherwise arranged in writing.

🚗 Travel & Session Location (Private 1:1 Coaching)

Travel is included within a 45-minute commute from East York. Sessions held beyond this range incur a $50 travel fee per session.
Travel time is factored into the session schedule. Consecutive sessions at the same location will incur only one travel fee.
Clients must provide a professional, private location such as a boardroom or coworking space. Sessions will not proceed if the location is a private residence or is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.

🛡️ Professional Conduct & Safety

All sessions are confidential unless disclosure is required by law.
Both the coach and participant are expected to maintain professional conduct.
If either party feels unsafe or uncomfortable, the session may be ended immediately, and next steps will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If the coach is delayed by up to 15 minutes, the session will continue with the remaining time. If the delay exceeds 15 minutes, the client may:
Extend the session (if schedule allows)
Receive a time credit
Reschedule at no extra cost

All terms will be confirmed in your custom proposal or agreement.

eGift Certificates

1. Recipient Notification

The recipient must be aware of the eGift Certificate in advance to avoid delivery issues. Anonymous gifts cannot be processed, as they can lead to confusion or rejection of the gift. The purchaser will be cc’d on all delivery emails for transparency.

2. Delivery Timeline

Standard Delivery: eGift Certificates are delivered via email within 3 to 5 business days of form submission.
Expedited Delivery: eGift Certificates are delivered via email within 1 to 3 business days for an additional fee of $25 CAD.
Priority Delivery: eGift Certificates are delivered via email within 24 hours (same day) for an additional fee of $35 CAD.
Rush Delivery Availability: Rush delivery is subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance by emailing carolyn@vocaleuphoria.com with the subject line: Rush eGift.

3. Accuracy of Information

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that all information provided in the form is accurate, including:

The recipient’s name (as it will appear on the certificate).
The recipient’s email address.
The purchaser’s contact details for confirmation purposes.

Errors in the provided information may delay processing or delivery.

4. Refund Policy

eGift Certificate requests are final and non-refundable. No exchanges or cash redemption.

5. Delivery Confirmation

The purchaser will be cc’d on all delivery emails. If the purchaser chooses to deliver the eGift Certificate personally, they must indicate this in the form.

6. Customization

If no custom message is provided, the purchaser’s name will appear as the default gift giver.
Requests for specific design styles (e.g., festive, elegant, playful) will be accommodated wherever possible but are not guaranteed.

7. Email Delivery

The eGift Certificate will be sent to the recipient via email. The purchaser is encouraged to notify the recipient to check their inbox and spam/junk folder if the email is not immediately visible.

8. Payment and Submission

The purchaser must submit a unique payment code provided at checkout to validate the purchase. eGift Certificates will not be processed without a valid code.

9. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

Lessons booked using an eGift Certificate must be rescheduled or canceled at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in the session being forfeited.

10. Changes to Recipient Details

Changes to the recipient’s name or email address must be requested before the eGift Certificate is sent. Once the certificate has been delivered, it is non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another person.

To request pre-delivery changes, contact carolyn@vocaleuphoria.com immediately after completing the personalization form. Please include the unique payment code and updated recipient details in the email.

Gift Certificate and Credit Policy

1. General Information

Gift Certificates are issued by Vocal Euphoria and are redeemable exclusively for private lessons, workshops, and MasterClasses offered through vocaleuphoria.com.
Credits refer to any value applied to a client’s account due to cancellations, promotions, referrals, or other circumstances as outlined below.
Gift Certificates are purchased online and delivered electronically via email. No physical certificates are provided.

2. Redemption

Gift Certificates and credits can only be used to book services directly through vocaleuphoria.com.
They cannot be redeemed for cash or used to purchase other gift certificates.
Gift Certificates are non-transferable and must be redeemed by the recipient indicated at the time of purchase.

3. Expiry and Fees

Gift Certificates for services do not expire, in accordance with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, unless issued for a specific service or promotional purpose. Expiry dates for such cases will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Credits issued for cancellations, loyalty rewards, or referrals do not expire unless otherwise specified at the time of issuance.
No additional fees, such as processing or administrative fees, will be applied to Gift Certificates or credits.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Services booked using Gift Certificates or credits are subject to the standard [Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy]:
- Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice.
- Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before the scheduled session.
Missed appointments or late cancellations will result in forfeiture of the session value associated with the Gift Certificate or credit.

5. Refunds and Adjustments

Gift Certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
If a service booked with a Gift Certificate or credit is canceled by Vocal Euphoria, the value will be credited back to the recipient’s account for future use.
Credits issued for cancellations or other adjustments have no cash value and are non-transferable.

6. Lost or Misplaced Certificates

Lost or misplaced Gift Certificates will not be reissued. Please ensure the certificate code is kept secure.

7. Types of Credits

Credits may be issued under the following circumstances:

Cancellation Credits: Provided when a session is canceled by the client with appropriate notice.
Referral Credits: Offered to clients who refer new customers to Vocal Euphoria.
Loyalty Credits: Rewards for repeat clients who meet specific milestones (e.g., completing 10 sessions).
Promotional Credits: Issued as part of limited-time offers or special events.
Compensation Credits: Provided as an apology for service disruptions or business errors.

Credits will be applied automatically to future bookings and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. Limitations

Gift Certificates and credits cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or special offers unless explicitly stated.
They are valid only for services offered directly by Vocal Euphoria and cannot be redeemed for third-party services or products.

9. Amendments

Vocal Euphoria reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website or email and will not retroactively affect existing Gift Certificates or credits.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.

Vocal Legacy Membership

Membership Eligibility

The Vocal Legacy Membership is available exclusively to individuals personally invited by Sensei Carolyn. Membership is non-transferable.

Payment Terms

Membership fees are billed either annually ($497) or monthly ($49). Payments are non-refundable for any completed billing period.

Early Access Disclaimer

As this course is 80% complete, some lessons may initially lack certain materials, such as videos, audio guides, or quizzes. These will be added over time.

Feedback Participation

Members agree to provide constructive feedback through surveys and, when possible, participate in Zoom discussions. Feedback is voluntary but strongly encouraged.

Cancellation Policy

Members can cancel their membership at any time. Upon cancellation, access to the course and community will be revoked at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, PDFs, and other resources, are the intellectual property of Vocal Euphoria and may not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without explicit permission.

Membership Termination

Vocal Euphoria reserves the right to terminate memberships for misuse, including sharing login credentials or violating community guidelines.

Course Updates

As a Legacy Member, you’ll receive all course updates and new materials at no additional cost during your active membership.

Privacy

Your personal information will be used solely for course-related purposes, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

This course is built upon a proprietary teaching method developed by the instructor over decades of professional performance and vocal coaching experience. The methodology employed in this course may differ from conventional approaches and incorporates unorthodox techniques proven effective for real-world singing scenarios.

Rather than adhering to traditional exercises or a focus on perfection, this course emphasizes practical strategies aimed at helping participants:

Build confidence in their singing abilities.

Embrace and appreciate their own unique vocal qualities, including imperfections.

Deliver their best possible performance, whether or not in front of an audience.

Certain technical concepts, such as breath control, are integrated into the exercises organically but are not emphasized as standalone topics. This intentional approach is designed to maintain focus on the broader goals of expressive, confident singing without unnecessary distractions.
