Want a consistent place to practice using your voice in front of others — without waiting until you feel “ready”? Performance Lab is a small-group workshop designed to help you build confidence, skill, and ease through regular, supported practice. It’s a low-pressure space to rehearse, experiment, and work on material in progress, so you’re not doing it alone or only behind closed doors. Performance Lab is about showing up, trying things out, and learning that confidence grows through practice, not perfection.
✨ Why Choose My Performance Lab?
Performance Lab exists because confidence doesn’t fully develop in isolation. Many people make real progress in private practice or one-on-one coaching, but still hesitate when it comes time to use their voice in front of others. Skills improve, understanding deepens — and then pressure changes everything.
Performance Lab provides a place to bridge that gap. It gives you regular opportunities to apply what you’re learning in a real, shared environment, so confidence isn’t theoretical — it’s lived. Through repetition, guidance, and supported exposure, you learn what actually holds up when you’re being seen and heard.
This work isn’t about proving yourself or getting it “right.” It’s about building trust in your voice over time and discovering that mistakes, nerves, and imperfect moments are part of the process — not signs that you’re doing it wrong.
🔄 What Happens in a Lab
Each Performance Lab is a guided, small-group session where everyone has space to participate and learn.
You’ll bring material you’re working on and have the opportunity to perform or present it in front of the group. You’ll receive focused, supportive coaching in real time, with an emphasis on exploration and adjustment rather than getting things “right.”
Listening is just as important as performing. You’ll learn by watching others work, hearing the feedback they receive, and noticing how different voices, styles, and challenges are approached. Many participants find that observing others brings insight into their own work, even when they’re not the one performing.
The Lab is designed as a working environment, not a showcase. You’re encouraged to experiment, repeat sections, try different approaches, and take risks in a supportive setting. Over time, this combination of doing, receiving feedback, and witnessing others builds confidence through practice and experience.
⚙️ How it Works
Performance Lab runs as an in-person, small-group workshop with a consistent structure so you can focus on your work rather than figuring out something new each time.
Labs take place at my home studio in East York and are held in a supportive group setting where everyone has space to participate. Each session is 90 minutes long and facilitated to balance performing, coaching, and group learning.
You can attend a single Lab to try it out or return regularly through a Lab Series. The format is designed to support repeat attendance over time, so you can build confidence through repetition and familiarity if that’s the rhythm you want.
There’s no required progression and no expectation to attend every month. You’re free to engage with Performance Lab in the way that best supports where you are right now.
🧭 Session Options
Performance Lab is available in two participation options, depending on how you want to engage.

A one-time Lab session. Ideal if you want to try Performance Lab, get feedback on current material, or experience the format before committing to a series. - Performance Lab Series
A multi-session option for those who want ongoing practice over time. Series packages allow you to attend multiple Labs while saving on the per-session cost and choosing which dates to attend based on availability.
