A small-group performance training environment, limited to 4 performers.
Performance Lab is a structured space to practice performing in front of others while receiving focused coaching and feedback. The small group format allows for individual attention, real-time learning, and a supportive atmosphere where progress can happen without pressure to be perfect.
This is not a recital or showcase. Itโs a working lab designed to help singers and speakers build confidence, consistency, and comfort being seen and heard โ one step at a time.
Because each session is capped atย four participants, everyone has time to perform, observe, and integrate feedback in a meaningful way.
Ideal for performers who want to bridge the gap between private work and real-world performance.
โจ Why Choose My Performance Lab?
Performance Lab exists because confidence doesnโt fully develop in isolation. Many people make real progress in private practice or one-on-one coaching, but still hesitate when it comes time to use their voice in front of others. Skills improve, understanding deepens โ and then pressure changes everything.
Performance Lab provides a place to bridge that gap. It gives you regular opportunities to apply what youโre learning in a real, shared environment, so confidence isnโt theoretical โ itโs lived. Through repetition, guidance, and supported exposure, you learn what actually holds up when youโre being seen and heard.
This work isnโt about proving yourself or getting it โright.โ Itโs about building trust in your voice over time and discovering that mistakes, nerves, and imperfect moments are part of the process โ not signs that youโre doing it wrong.
๐ What Happens in a Lab
Each Performance Lab is a guided, small-group session where everyone has space to participate and learn.
Youโll bring material youโre working on and have the opportunity to perform or present it in front of the group. Youโll receive focused, supportive coaching in real time, with an emphasis on exploration and adjustment rather than getting things โright.โ
Listening is just as important as performing. Youโll learn by watching others work, hearing the feedback they receive, and noticing how different voices, styles, and challenges are approached. Many participants find that observing others brings insight into their own work, even when theyโre not the one performing.
The Lab is designed as a working environment, not a showcase. Youโre encouraged to experiment, repeat sections, try different approaches, and take risks in a supportive setting. Over time, this combination of doing, receiving feedback, and witnessing others builds confidence through practice and experience.
โ๏ธ How it Works
Performance Lab runs as an in-person, small-group workshop with a consistent structure, so you can focus on your work rather than figuring out something new each time.
Each session is 90 minutes long and facilitated to balance performing, coaching, and group learning. The format supports repeat attendance, allowing confidence to build through familiarity and practice over time.
Thereโs no required progression and no expectation to attend every month. Youโre free to engage with Performance Lab in the way that best supports where you are right now.
