Purpose of This Page
This page outlines the day-to-day expectations, boundaries, and operating guidelines for coaches teaching under the Vocal Euphoria brand.
These Terms & Conditions are intended to support clarity, professionalism, and a positive experience for students, coaches, and the studio.
By teaching under the Vocal Euphoria brand and using Vocal Euphoria systems, coaches acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Relationship to the Independent Contractor Agreement
These Terms & Conditions work alongside the Independent Contractor Agreement.
If anything on this page conflicts with the signed Agreement, the Agreement takes precedence.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect operational changes, provided updates do not conflict with the Agreement.
Teaching Scope
VE Voice Coaches:
- teach private singing lessons under the Vocal Euphoria brand
- may teach in-person, online, or both
- work with their own clients and schedules
- are not employees of Vocal Euphoria
Coaches may not:
- represent themselves as employees of Vocal Euphoria
- modify pricing, packages, or policies
- offer services outside those approved in the booking system under the Vocal Euphoria name
Booking, Scheduling, and Availability
- All lessons are booked through the Vocal Euphoria booking system.
- Coaches manage their own availability and calendars.
- The studio does not guarantee bookings or income.
- Coaches are responsible for keeping availability accurate and up to date.
Discovery Calls
Each VE Voice Coach will have a discovery call booking option on their profile within the Vocal Euphoria booking system.
Discovery calls are part of the Vocal Euphoria onboarding experience for new students.
While coaches control their availability for all session types (including discovery calls), the discovery call option will be offered consistently as part of the studio experience.
Discovery calls, when scheduled, must be clearly associated with the individual coach and not routed through another coach or team member.
Communication Expectations
Coaches are expected to be reachable through:
- Email (vocaleuphoria.com address)
- SMS (business phone number)
- Phone calls (business phone number)
- WhatsApp Business (recommended, especially for long-distance or international students)
Coaches may choose how and when to respond, but should maintain reasonable response times and professional tone.
Phone Numbers and Messaging
Each coach uses a dedicated business phone number.
This may be:
- a second SIM or eSIM on the same device
- an app-based number (e.g. FreePhoneLine or similar)
- another reliable business-only setup
Personal phone numbers should not be used for client communication.
Voicemail is optional.
If voicemail is enabled, the suggested greeting is:
“Hi, you’ve reached Vocal Euphoria. This is Coach [Name]. Please leave a message.”
Teaching Environment and Tools
There is no single required teaching setup.
Coaches are encouraged to:
- use tools they already own
- build their setup over time
- teach in a way that suits their strengths and students
Coaches are responsible for:
- their teaching space
- their equipment
- internet connectivity
- sound, lighting, and basic professionalism
Vocal Euphoria does not provide physical equipment or studio space unless otherwise agreed.
Insurance (Important Clarification)
Vocal Euphoria maintains business insurance covering coaching services delivered under the Vocal Euphoria brand.
This coverage does not extend to:
- a coach’s home or personal property
- damage to a coach’s equipment
- incidents related to the coach’s physical space
For coaches teaching from their own home or private studio, personal professional liability insurance is strongly recommended, even though it is not required.
Many renters and homeowners assume other policies cover teaching activity — they often do not.
Coaches are encouraged to speak with:
- their own insurance provider, or
- the Vocal Euphoria insurance broker
to understand what is and is not covered.
Minors and Student Safety
When teaching minors, coaches are expected to:
- obtain appropriate parental consent
- communicate transparently with parents or guardians
- follow studio expectations regarding supervision and boundaries
Coaches may not:
- engage in private, undisclosed communication with minors
- record sessions involving minors without explicit consent
- cross professional boundaries in any form
Professional Conduct
Coaches must conduct themselves professionally at all times.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- sexual or romantic relationships with students
- inappropriate physical contact
- harassment, discrimination, or abuse
- illegal activity
- conduct that could reasonably harm students or the Vocal Euphoria brand
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
Recording and Use of Student Content
Coaches may not:
- record lessons
- share audio, video, or images of students
- use student content for promotion or teaching materials
without explicit consent from the student (and parent/guardian where applicable).
Brand Use
Coaches may use the Vocal Euphoria name and logo only:
- while actively teaching under the Agreement
- alongside their own name (not standalone)
Brand assets must be removed from:
- websites
- social media
- marketing materials
when teaching under Vocal Euphoria ends.
Website and System Access
Coaches may be given access to:
- vocaleuphoria.com email
- booking system
- Zoom
- WordPress (coach-specific areas only)
Coaches may not:
- change pricing
- edit policies
- edit other coaches’ content
- modify core site structure
Clients and Boundaries
Clients choose the coach they work with.
Coaches agree not to actively solicit students who are currently working with another Vocal Euphoria coach.
General visibility and passive marketing are permitted.
Client movement by choice is respected.
Payments and Invoicing
Payments are handled according to the Agreement and Schedule A.
Coaches invoice monthly for completed billable sessions.
Payments are issued via e-transfer.
Leaving Vocal Euphoria
Upon notice of departure:
- coaches may finish teaching booked sessions within the notice period
- booking access will close at the end of the notice period
- brand use must stop
Coaches will be provided with a list of their clients for communication purposes.
Questions and Updates
This page exists to support clarity, not create friction.
If something feels unclear, coaches are encouraged to ask.
These Terms & Conditions may evolve as the studio grows, but will remain aligned with the Independent Contractor Agreement.
